'Downtown' Niagara Falls

As is the case for most towns and cities, the downtown core was once the lifeblood of the community.

As the years went by and urban sprawl set in, the core became less important.

Now, many cities are trying to recapture the spirit of their downtowns and Niagara Falls is no exception.

In this series you'll see the decay and the restoration.
There's still a long way to go, but things are slowly improving for the downtown core area.

Most of what you see here is photographed along what was the heart of the old town, Queen Street.
