This odd combination of newstand, variety store and restaurant has occupied this location (Bridge Sreet and River Road) as long as anyone alive in Niagara Falls can remember. The storage area just below the 'Simon's Restaurant' sign might just be the biggest fire hazard in the city.
So much junk is stored in this area that if it ever does catch fire it will burn well into the next century.
